ADHESIVES_Hotmelt & Solvent Based

Solvent-based adhesives have been used in mattress manufacturing for many years and offer several advantages. One of the main advantages is their ability to provide strong and durable bonding between different materials such as foam, fabric and spring cores. Solvent-based adhesives are also known for their short open time & pressing time, meaning they can be applied quickly and production can continue at a high pace.
Solvent-based adhesives have good heat resistance, which is important in mattress manufacturing. Another advantage of these adhesives is their ability to be reactivated by heat, in case of defects / rework of mattresses.

Hotmelt adhesives offer several advantages for mattress production. First of all, they have a 100% solids content, which means that they do not contain solvents and water, making them environmentally friendly products. In addition, hotmelt / hot melt adhesives have short setting times, which allows for high production speeds, making them ideal for modern, high-speed manufacturing processes.
Another advantage of hot melt adhesives is their wide range of adhesion to different materials including foam, non-woven, jute, coir, wool and more. They can even smooth surface irregularities, resulting in smooth surfaces thanks to their waterless bonding. Bonding/gluing lines are elastic, which provides flexibility and durability to the final product.

As the trend towards eco-friendly alternatives gains importance, hotmelt and water-based adhesives are now considered more advantageous options for gluing in mattress production.

SOLVENT BASED ADHESIVES

Available in different options in the amount of basic product (proportion of non-volatile material). Available in different colors (yellow, red, blue).
The use of a spray gun with a pressure of 4-6 bar is necessary to apply the solvent-based adhesive. Open time: 0-3 minutes.

HOTMELT ADHESIVES

Provides excellent initial grip.
Contains 100% solids with no solvents or water.
Allows high production speed for mattresses. Suitable for use with a wide range of materials.
Very heat resistant. It offers the best thermal stability.
An optional ‘silent melt’ adhesive is also available, which helps prevent any mattress noise.

SOLVENT BASED ADHESIVES

The solvent-based adhesive is available in various packaging options between 3 – 1200 kg.

HOTMELT ADHESIVES

Hotmelt is available in various sizes and shapes, including granules, pads and blocks. Available in different colors and viscosities.

Production time: 2-4 weeks from order confirmation (depending on the quantity ordered, availability in stock, availability of production capacity).

Shipping time: 1-2 weeks, depending on the final destination.

The delivery date will be agreed upon signing the contract or confirming the order.
